The Angry Birds movie is due for a summer release in 2016.
New Delhi: One of the most popular smartphone games of all times, The Angry Birds, is all set to be released as a movie and its first official trailer is out. The main character in 'The Angry Birds' movie is Red (voiced by Jason Sudeikis), an ‘angry bird’ who is, well, angry and is trying to control his flare with anger management classes. There’s also a new pig (voiced by Bill Hader) whose arrival in the neighbourhood might upset Red. Rovio, maker of the much-loved game, has high hopes with the costly ($80 million) movie project to regain its lost popularity. The movie is projected for a release in May 2016.
