'We managed to bring together consenting adults who were willing to be made fun of ' AIB's statement on the recent 'Knockout' uproar

Comedy group AIB has put up their statement after a stream of controversy and outrage on their show 'AIB Knockout' which was released on YouTube on the 28th of January, 2015. From getting immense amount of support from their fans throughout the nation, to being called crass and a national shame; from getting applauded by celebrities, to getting a police complaint filed against them; AIB saw it all. In the very end, the video was taken down from YouTube by the comedy collective. It caused a lot of uproar and AIB could not be approached for a comment. On the 4th of February, AIB released a statement on their Facebook page talking about the entire situation. Here is their full statement:
