As per reports, the series has already clocked over 150 million streaming minutes and is set to clock a record number. The crime thriller has been a game changer for the makers.
Paruvu is a crime thriller that is all set to breach 200 million streaming minutes soon on the OTT platform Zee5. When this happens, it will be a new record, as no Telugu web series on Zee5 has clocked that number to date. The series has kept the viewers on the edge of their seats, offering thrills and excitement in every episode. The series is produced by Chiranjeevi’s daughter, Sushmitha Konidela, and popular director Pawan Sadineni has been the showrunner. It is based on the subject of honour killing and stars Nivetha Pethuraj and Naresh Agastya in the lead roles. One of the standout roles is played by Nagababu. He plays the role of an antagonist in the project for the first time in his career. His role as a politician has been designed superbly in the series.
Paruvu is directed by Siddharth Naidu and Rajsekkhar. The eight-episode web series is based on the story of a couple who are targeted by their own family for marrying out of their caste. The series is set in the Guntur region, and the drama created without much sleaze has won the hearts of many. As the last episode of the web series was left on a cliffhanger, the makers are planning to announce the second season of Paruvu as well. Apart from the lead cast, the web series also stars Praneetha Patnaik and Rajkumar Kasireddy in key roles.
