‘Your Potential Is Sky High’: Hrithik Roshan's Appreciation Note For Cousin Pashmina Roshan After Ishq Vishq Rebound

Pashmina Roshan, Hrithik Roshan’s cousin, made her striking acting debut in Ishq Vishq Rebound earlier this year. The actress earned positive feedback for her performance alongside Rohit Saraf, Jibraan Khan and Naila Grewal. Moreover, she had surely made her family proud with her debut. Hrithik shared an appreciation post for Pashmina to express how happy and proud he was.

Hrithik Roshan shared two photos on Instagram. The first still featured Hrithik with Pashmina Roshan, while the second one was a solo of the actress. Along with the pictures, he expressed, “Knowing the real YOU and watching you on the big screen totally immersed in character has been a revelation and nothing less than a joyous experience for me pash. Believe me, your potential is sky high and you will manifest it all very soon just like you manifested your first ISHQ VISHQ. There is something extremely special about your presence. Once you realize it, you will know how to use it, protect it, nurture it. Keep going Pash! Be unstoppable! I’m so proud of you. Love you… Duggu bhaiya.”

Earlier in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Pashmina shared about the close-knit bond she shares with Hrithik. The actress shared how she would wear an HRX T-shirt (a brand co-founded by Hrithik) for her auditions because she considered it her “lucky charm.” Further, she shared, “I cannot not tell him everything. I can tell anything to Duggu bhaiya. I am sure he keeps secrets for me.” Moreover being in the industry himself for over decades, Hrithik is surely an inspiration for Pashmina as she now ventures to make her mark. Sharing how her cousin guided her before she made her debut, Pashmina told The Free Press Journal, “Yes, of course, I had his advice on how to improve as a performer and how to be better in life overall.”

The highly awaited sequel to 2003’s Ishq Vishk was released on June 2. Ishq Vishk Rebound explores love and its complexity through the eyes of Gen Z. Ishq Vishk Rebound is produced by Tips Films’ Ramesh Taurani and directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari. Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan was last seen in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter opposite Deepika Padukone. The film was released in January this year.
