On September 2, 2024, Zeenat posted a black-and-white photo from her younger days, captioning it, “This Monday, a meditation on meaningful relationships…” She confessed, “I have not had too many,” revealing that while she didn’t think much about it when she was younger, it has been on her mind recently.

Reflecting on her experiences, Zeenat said, “There is a saying—it’s lonely at the top. Well, it’s lonely at the bottom too. I have experienced both.” She went on to explain that her public persona has been both a privilege and a prison, affecting her ability to cultivate meaningful relationships. She noted, “With men, their intent was almost always obvious, which was flattering but ultimately shallow. And with women… the nature of society, especially back in those days, forced comparisons that led to envy in one too many cases.”

Zeenat also pondered how to measure a meaningful relationship, concluding that ‘reciprocity’ is key—sharing in each other’s successes, enduring tough times together, and being able to remove the outward masks we all wear. She admitted that she has had limited success in this area but has come to focus on the significant bonds she does have.
