Ankita Lokhande’s Mother REACTS To Vicky Jain's Mom Bringing Up Her Late Husband: 'It Was Wrong'

Ankita Lokhande’s mother, Vandana Lokhande has finally opened up about Vicky Jain’s mom bringing up her late on Bigg Boss 17. During her recent visit to the show, Vicky’s mom told Ankita that the businessman’s father dialled her mother after she kicked Vicky in one of the episodes. Vicky’s dad asked Vandana Lokhande if she also used to behave the same way with her husband the same way.

Ankita Lokhande’s mother has now said that the incident and the comments made by Vicky’s mother were “wrong”. She was speaking to Galatta India when she argued that it should “not have happened” on the controversial reality show.

“It was wrong. Both Ankita and Vicky have been away from their parents for three months, it shouldn’t have happened on the show like this. Vicky has no idea that this conversation has even happened… I don’t want their relationship to get affected by this. Ankita was crying, she was concerned. I would have never told her about it, but she said she already knew. I was very hurt when I saw that promo video, and I know that Ankita misses her father a lot,” Ankita’s mother said.

Ankita’s father passed away in 2023, a few months before she entered the Bigg Boss 17 house. Recalling her late husband, Vandana Lokhande said that he was her strength all the time. “Her father had promised her he’d watch her on the show. His presence will never leave us. He’s not with us anymore, but I know the man he was. And my family knows. But Ankita is not with me, and she was very stressed. All I told her was that she needs to be careful about what she says on the show, because it can be misconstrued against her,” she added.

Asked about the comments made by Vicky Jain’s mother in the media, Ankita’s mom argued that the former is entitled to have her own opinion.

Earlier, Ankita also informed Vicky about the incident when she said, “Meri mummy ko papa (Vicky’s father) ne phone kiya tha. (He asked) ‘Aap aapke pati ko aisi maarti thi kya chappal jute phek ke?’ Papa ne aur bhi bola tha. (He said) ‘Aapki aukat kya hai?’ I politely told mummy that she was alone, my papa recently passed away. I genuinely felt guilty and apologised to her. Later, my mom revealed that Papa had told her many other things. But I asked her to not bring this up.”
