Swapnil Joshi is one of the most popular actors in the Marathi TV industry. He has worked in several serials, films, as well as web shows. Swapnil always manages to impress the audience with his brilliant performances on screen. Today, on October 18, Swapnil Joshi is celebrating his 46th birthday. On this special occasion, let us take a look at how the actor grabbed the limelight last year for a scene in a TV serial. We are talking about his Marathi TV serial, Tu Tevha Tashi, which came to an end this year in March. A particular scene, which had Swapnil Joshi and actress Shilpa Tulaskar in it, went viral last year. The duo was seen getting intimate in the scene, with the romantic track Ek Din Aap from the film Yes Boss playing in the background.
Tu Tevha Tashi had a huge fanbase since the day it premiered on Zee Marathi. Swapnil Joshi and Shilpa Tulaskar’s chemistry was loved by the audience. The intimate scene was a depiction of how the on-screen couple finally came together after overcoming various difficulties. Fans were impressed to see how TV has managed to progress, by depicting such scenes with ease. Some fans, however, trolled the serial for the scene.
Tu Tevha Tashi was helmed by Mandar Devasthali and distributed by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. The show aired on Zee Marathi. The show also starred Abhidnya Bhave, Abhishek Rahalkar, Rumani Khare, Swanand Ketkar, Suhas Joshi, Ujwala Jog, and Sunil Godabole.
Swapnil shared an emotional post on Instagram after the last episode was aired on Zee Marathi.
He wrote in the caption: “The end is never easy! The last shot in the series ‘Tu Tevha Tashi’ was one of the most difficult shots of my entire career. Not because it was technically tough but because there were tears of joy in everyone’s eyes at that time”. Swapnil further wrote, “We call our work a family affair! And we take pride in it. Coz we live together. We laugh together. We love together. And we will always be a part of this family even though we won’t see each other every day”.
