Chris Evans Confirms Marriage With Alba Baptista: 'It's Like The Best Time'

Last month, there was a revelation that Chris Evans, known for his role in Marvel, and Alba Baptista, a former Warrior Nun star, had privately tied the knot at their home. This weekend, Chris garnered significant attention as he appeared at the New York Comic Con (NYCC). While NYCC typically prohibits actors from discussing upcoming projects, it became a unique opportunity for fans to get a peek into his personal life. During a panel discussion, Chris finally opened up about his marriage to Alba and proudly showed off his wedding ring.

Chris shed light on his marriage, disclosing that they had not one but two wedding ceremonies. The first occurred in Portugal, and the second was held in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He described both events as “wonderful and beautiful” and expressed that they are currently savouring a well-deserved break.

“I got married. It was really really great. Planning a wedding, it’s a lot. For those of you who are married, you know, it takes a lot out of you, but now that we’re through that, we’ve just kinda been enjoying life and gearing up for autumn, my favourite season. It’s like the best time of year right now. Now we’re just relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting,” Chis Evans said.

Rumours of a romantic connection between Chris Evans and Alba Baptista began circulating two years ago when fans noticed that the Portuguese actress had started following the Avengers star and some of his family members on Instagram. In November 2022, their relationship became more obvious as the couple were spotted holding hands in Central Park. A source close to the actor shared with US Weekly at the time, “Chris and Alba have gotten serious. This is the most committed anyone can remember him being in a very long time, if not ever.”

“They spend most of their time at his place in Massachusetts and love the quiet life there, surrounded by nature and away from the spotlight. Chris was very open that he wanted to take his time before settling down,” added the source.

In a candid interview with Men’s Journal in May 2019, Chris Evans expressed his desire to settle down and begin a family.
