The highly anticipated Fighter trailer finally dropped on today, January 15. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, the trailer has ignited goosebumps with its power-packed action scenes and heavy-weight dialogues. Besides the powerful scenes, the trailer also gave a glimpse at Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s sizzling chemistry. Although only a handful of scenes were present in the trailer, Deepika and Hrithik have caught everyone’s attention for their sizzling pool scene.
The scene appears to be a part of a song. In the scene, Hrithik and Deepika are seen sharing an intimate moment in a pool. While Hrithik is seen wearing a white shirt, Deepika appears to be dressed in a white monokini. They are also seen on a yacht, hinting that it is a part of the same song. The trailer was launched in Mumbai with Hrithik heading the squad of actors. However, Deepika couldn’t be a part of the launch due to health issues. She confirmed that she was unwell and would be sitting out of the launch event.
The trailer revealed Hrithik and Deepika play Airforce officers Patty and Minni who take on missions and perform high-octane stunts with their respective aircraft in Fighter. This marks their first film together. The film also features Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi in key roles. The Siddharth Anand directorial film is slated to have a theatrical release on January 25, 2024. The filmmaker’s last release was Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and it was a massive box office success.
Siddharth Anand took to the microblogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, last month to reveal the film’s runtime as well. “#Fighter run time rumours. Real run time is under 2 hours 40 minutes," he wrote. Several fans took to the comments section to express their excitement for the film.
