On the auspicious occasion of Navaratri, Kangana Ranaut’s family just got bigger, as the actress became a proud ‘bua’ to a baby boy. Kangana’s brother and sister-in-law became proud parents of baby boy Akshwathama last week. The proud and ecstatic aunt was seen at the Mumbai airport on Saturday night, distributing sweets among the paparazzi and feeding them Kaju Ki Barfi with her own hands.

The actress was a vision of joy as she looked gorgeous in a white saree with gold and green detailing. She flaunted her natural curls as she tied her hair loosely and distributed golden-wrapped boxes of sweets to the paparazzi at the airport. She was also seen feeding some photographers Kaju Ki Barfi, as she was overjoyed by the birth of her nephew.

Earlier this week, sharing the first photos of her new-born nephew from the hospital, the actress penned a heartfelt note in Hindi that translated to, “Today on this blessed day our family is blessed with a child, my brother @aksht_ranaut and his wife @ritu_ranaut002 are blessed with a son.”

She also revealed the baby boy’s name and wrote, “We have named Akshwathama Ranaut (Ashwatthama Ranaut) this stunning and attractive boy. May you all bless our new family member, we share our infinite happiness with you all Thankful to you, The Ranaut family.”

Kangana is currently gearing up for the release of her film Tejas. After dropping the film’s much-awaited trailer recently, the film’s first song, Jaan Da, was unveiled on Sunday, October 15. Beautifully sung in the soulful voices of Arijit Singh and Shashwat Sachdev, the immensely patriotic and inspirational lyrics of Jaan Da are written by Kumaar. Shashwat Sachdev has made an apt composition for the film that perfectly carries the sentiments of national pride and patriotism.

Kangana Ranaut reportedly dedicated four months to rigorous training to master the specialised combat techniques employed by the Indian forces, for her film. Produced by RSVP, the film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Vishak Nair in pivotal roles. The movie is directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Tejas is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 27 this year.
