Kangana Ranaut Visits Statue Of Unity Ahead Of Tejas' Release, Says 'Prime Minister of Bharat...'

Kangana Ranaut is currently in Gujrat and on this trip, she took the time from her busy schedule to pay a visit to the Statue Of Unity located near Kevadia. The Tejas actress shared on social media that former Indian Prime Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel instilled the spirit of nationalism in her and the team of her upcoming film Tejas. She also dropped a selfie with the statue.

Taking to her handle on the microblogging site X (formerly Twitter), Kangana shared a picture of herself looking at the Statue of Unity. She wrote, “Visiting the statue of unity was deeply enthralling experience, the first chosen Prime Minister of Bharat Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who wasn’t allowed to take his well deserved chair because he wasn’t very good in English even though he held the nation in his arms like Shiv held disintegrated body of Sati, he is the reason behind the integrity of Bharat as we know it today. Such a well-deserved ode to this unsung national hero evoked the spirit of pride and nationalism in me and my entire team of upcoming film Tejas.”

Kangana is currently gearing up for the release of her film Tejas. After dropping the film’s much-awaited trailer recently, the film’s first song, Jaan Da, was unveiled on Sunday, October 15. Beautifully sung in the soulful voices of Arijit Singh and Shashwat Sachdev, the immensely patriotic and inspirational lyrics of Jaan Da are written by Kumaar. Shashwat Sachdev has made an apt composition for the film that perfectly carries the sentiments of national pride and patriotism.

Kangana Ranaut reportedly dedicated four months to rigorous training to master the specialised combat techniques employed by the Indian forces, for her film. Produced by RSVP, the film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Vishak Nair in pivotal roles. The movie is directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Tejas is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 27 this year.
