American boxing legend Floyd Mayweather was spotted visiting the holy Siddhi Vinayak temple in Mumbai on Monday during his tour of India.

The pugilist who has created a name for himself in the world of sport with high-profile victories at grand stages was seen at the temple premises of the powerful deity, which is one of Mumbai City’s biggest tourist attractions.

The boxer, who hung up his gloves in the year 2017, has an impeccable 50-0 record and is considered to be one of the sport’s finest representatives. His final professional fight was against Conor McGregor, which the American won by a TKO to sign off with a perfect record.

Of his 50 triumphs, an astounding 27 came from TKO to further cement his legacy in the ring.

His historic bout against Manny Pacquiao, which was billed as the ‘Fight of the Century’ garnered one of the highest viewership numbers across sports and created a huge impact in the realms of combat sports.

Also known as ‘Money’ and ‘Pretty Boy’ initially, due to his unmarked face, he has fostered a universal fanbase for his in-ring talent and his overall persona.

The boxer from Michigan with an orthodox stance and a reach of 72 (Fingertip to fingertip) inches, has revolutionised the sport for both fans and casual followers.
