In the highly anticipated K-drama series, My Man is Cupid, featuring Jang Dong-yoon, Nana, and Park Ki-wong, enthusiasts of the romance-fantasy genre can delve into a tale set to premiere on December 1. The story unfolds around the budding romance between a fairy and a young woman employed at an animal clinic. Originally slated for a 2022 release, delays in filming and production pushed the premiere to December 1 on Prime Video, with sixteen episodes airing every Friday and Saturday. The plot offers a contemporary twist on forbidden love.

The storyline has a fallen fairy named Cheon Sang-Hyeok, played by the talented Jang Dong-Yoon, and a smart, beautiful veterinarian, Oh Baek-ryun, portrayed by the lovely Nana. The plot thickens as these two characters navigate a love story that’s anything but ordinary. Baek-ryun has this dating curse – every guy she dates ends up facing near-death incidents. However, there’s nothing to fear because Sang-Hyeok’s entrance into her life might just turn things around.

Cheon Sang Hyuk is a charismatic fairy, who easily makes women fall in love with him. 500 years ago, his wings were burned. To restore his wings, he went through 27 metamorphoses. On his 28th time, he gets involved with Oh Baek Ryun. Baek Ryun is a veterinarian and a very pretty woman. She has had many men fall in love with her because of her attractiveness. Whenever these men got into a romantic relationship with her, they always had a near-death experience and would then run away from her. Jang Dong Yoon, the male lead, recently graced our screens in Netflix’s slice-of-life drama Daily Dose of Sunshine, sharing the limelight with Park Bo Young and Yeon Woo Jin. His acting journey began in 2016 with the drama Women at a Game Company, followed by his appearance in Solomon’s Perjury.
