While Ranbir Kapoor has been ruling hearts and headlines for her recently released Animal, the actor is now likely to begin working on his next project – Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, soon. A social media user who had a recent encounter with Ranbir Kapoor at the airport has now claimed that the actor himself told him that Ramayana is all set to go on floors in the summer of 2024.
Ranbir Kapoor To Begin Ramayana Shoot Soon
A X user shared a series of posts recently and claimed he recently discussed Ramayana with Ranbir Kapoor at the airport. “Standing ahead of Ranbir Kapoor in the immigration queue and talking about #Animal + his next crazy project wasn’t something I’d signed up for this Bombay trip. And what a lovely guy!” the user wrote as quoted by Pinkvilla.

The netizen further revealed that Ranbir Kapoor told him Ramayana will go on floors in mid-2024. “Woah, this blew up! Everyone asking, he said ‘Ramayana,’ goes on floor early summers. Not sure I should divulge anything more than that, but the star cast is frickin’ crazy… wow, #Bollywood is really taking it to the next level starting 2023,” the user wrote in a following post. Earlier, it was being said that the shooting of Ramayan was slated to begin in December this year.

While Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the role of Ram in this upcoming movie, Sai Pallavi has been roped in for the role of Sita. Earlier, Alia Bhatt was in talks for the role of Sita but she backed out due to dates-related issues. Meanwhile, KGF star Yash is likely to play Ravana in the movie. In October this year, Pinkvilla reported that Sunny Deol is likely to turn Hanuman for the movie. However, there is no official announcement regarding this as of now.
