Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana And Hardik Pandya Share A Light-Hearted Moment At World Cup Final

Australia clinched the 2023 ODI World Cup with a resounding victory over India at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 final drew a star-studded crowd. The list of iconic figures featured cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and badminton legend Prakash Padukone, alongside Bollywood stars like Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan, and more. Sporting Team India jerseys, Ranveer Singh and Ayushmann Khurrana also attended the match.

Ayushmann Khurrana delighted his fans by sharing a selfie on his Instagram Story featuring himself alongside Ranveer Singh and Hardik Pandya. The photo was accompanied by a caption: “Bummed about losing but it was good to bump into these two.” All three stars donned the Team India jersey. Notably, Ranveer Singh made a stylish entrance to the stadium.

Hardik Pandya suffered an ankle injury while bowling against Bangladesh early in the World Cup which led to his unfortunate exclusion from the remainder of the tournament. The BCCI medical staff advised him to undergo six to eight weeks of rest.

Ayushmann Khurrana also took to Instagram to share a series of photos, expressing his support and cheering for India’s commendable performance in the match. One of the photos captured Ayushmann striking a pose against the vibrant backdrop of the stadium. In the caption, he wrote, “Just a bad day at the office. You guys will always be remembered as the toughest side of World Cup 2023. Thank you for the adrenaline! Well played!”

Ranveer Singh also shared a short note on Instagram. He wrote, “Some highs, some lows. Some good days, some bad days. Some wins, some losses. That is a sport. That is life. We are all gutted, but let’s applaud our boys for giving it their all.”

Prior to the match, Hardik Pandya conveyed a heartfelt message to the Indian Team through a video. He said, “I could not have been prouder of this team. Everything that we have done so far has been credited to the years of hard work behind us. We are now only one step ahead from glory, from doing something special that we have dreamt of since we were children.”
