Riteish Deshmukh Celebrates 21 Years Of Tujhe Meri Kasam With Genelia D'Souza

The actor posted a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the filming of his debut movie, featuring his wife Genelia D’Souza. In the throwback snaps, the duo can be seen in their youthful phase, posing during various shoot scenes. Accompanying the pictures, Riteish Deshmukh captioned, “21 years of Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003),” and tagged his co-star and real-life love, Genelia D’Souza.

Directed by K. Vijaya Bhaskar, Tujhe Meri Kasam was a cinematic adaptation of the 1999 Malayalam film Niram. The romantic drama marked the Hindi film debut of the southern star Shriya Saran. The movie hit the theatres on January 3, 2003.

Talking about its success, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’souza earned nominations for the Screen Award in the Most Promising Debut Actor and Actress categories, respectively.
