Jaguar Land Rover India, known as JLR India, has finally launched the much-anticipated 2024 Range Rover Velar facelift in India. The price starts at Rs 94.3 lakh (ex-showroom).
This luxurious SUV, now available in a single trim, offers buyers the choice between a four-cylinder turbo-petrol or diesel engine. The automaker had already commenced the bookings of the SUV from July 25, 2023 onwards. However, the deliveries are likely to begin anytime soon.
2024 Range Rover Velar Facelift: Design
While the core charm of this luxury SUV remains intact, JLR India has carefully introduced subtle enhancements to elevate its appeal. The design highlights include a revamped front bumper, an updated grille, and a tweaked rear bumper. The addition of a fresh set of alloy wheels further enhances its visual appeal. The rear end gets subtle changes in terms of new LED guide lamps now adorning the tail lights. Moreover, the SUV now offers ‘Pixel LED’ headlights as standard.
2024 Range Rover Velar Facelift: Features
The cabin of the 2024 Range Rover Velar facelift has been redesigned. It boasts of a revamped dashboard that further reduces clutter by minimizing physical controls on the center console. The main feature highlight is the brand-new 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen, seamlessly integrating in-car functions, including driving modes and more.
The 2024 Velar, exclusively available in the top-tier HSE trim, boasts of an array of premium features. These include four-zone climate control, 360-degree cameras, power-packed front seats offering heating and ventilation, a powered tailgate, a high-fidelity Meridian sound system, Terrain Response 2 off-road modes, and an adaptable air suspension.
2024 Range Rover Velar Facelift: Powertrain Options
Under the hood, the 2024 Range Rover Velar is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that churns out an impressive 246 bhp and a robust 365 Nm of torque. For those inclined towards diesel power, the 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine offers a top power of 201 bhp and a peak torque of 420 Nm. Transmission duty is taken care of by an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
2024 Range Rover Velar Facelift: Color Options
The Range Rover Velar Facelift is offered in a total of four color options namely Zadar Grey, Varesine Blue, Fuji White, and Santorini Black. The SUV is further offered with two interior color themes namely Deep Garnet/Ebony and Caraway/Ebony.
