Results of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024, which is required for admission to undergraduate and graduate law programmes at participating NLUs throughout the country, have been released by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). On December 3, 139 test venues spread throughout all Indian states conducted the CLAT 2024. The website consortiumofnlus.ac.in allows those who took the CLAT UG or PG 2024 entrance exams to view their results.
Now that the results are out, qualifying students can apply for the online admissions counselling procedure based on the rank list and admissions matrix offered by each NLU. Registration for the counselling procedure will take place between December 11 and December 20. Candidates from the general category would need to pay Rs 30,000 to lock in a seat. Candidates belonging to the ST, SC, OBC, BC, EWS, and PWD categories must pay Rs 20,000.

The first seat allocation list will be made public at 10 am on December 26, followed by the second seat list on January 8 and the third seat list on January 22. On May 20 and May 28, respectively, the fourth and fifth (final) seat allotment lists will be released. Candidates who have been assigned a seat at any NLU may choose to ‘Freeze’, ‘Float’, or ‘Exit’ during a counselling round. The fourth counselling round will mark the end of the “Float” option.
