The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the dates for the PhD admission exam 2023 for DU, JNU, BHU, and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU). The PhD entrance exam is slated to take place on October 26, 27, 30, and 31 as per the schedule, and the application correction window will be opened starting tomorrow, September 23. The subject-wise timetable is available for candidates to view on the official website, phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in.
Candidates who registered for PhD admissions at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Banaras Hindu University, Delhi University, and Jawaharlal Nehru University will have till September 24 at 11:50 PM to make changes to their application.
A formal announcement from NTA reads, “National Testing Agency is going to conduct Ph.D. Entrance Test for DU, JNU, BHU and BBAU – 2023 on 26, 27, 30 and 31 October 2023 at various examination Centres located in different cities across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.”
According to NTA, if there is a change that affects the fee, there will be an extra fee that must be paid before the changes take effect. The applicants are urged to correct their credentials carefully because there won’t be another opportunity for them to do so because it’s a one-time convenience provided to them to prevent any issues.
NTA PhD entrance test 2023: Important instructions application correction
–– Once the application form is submitted, candidates are not permitted to modify their mobile phone number, email address, or address.
–– Any one of the following information, including the candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, photograph, and signature, may be changed by the candidate.
–– Candidates have the opportunity to change their date of birth, gender, category, and subcategory during the application correction window.
–– Candidates are permitted to change exam cities, subject to restrictions on current and permanent addresses.
Except for the language tests, the majority of the questions on the PhD admission exam will be in English. The test will be given online in a multiple-choice question (MCQ) style, with 100 questions overall that must be completed in three hours. The NTA PhD admission test will be offered online in 97 locations, with students able to choose their preferred location.
The admission exam will be divided into two sections: Section 1 on research methodology and Section 2 on the particular subject the applicant has chosen. A candidate may choose up to three courses provided that the dates of the two examinations do not conflict.
