A Dubai-bound flight made an emergency landing in Mumbai on Saturday evening. The incident took place when the Air India flight took off from Hyderabad and later diverted to Mumbai due to the loss of yellow hydraulic system.

Air India’s A320 aircraft VT-EXV had 143 passengers onboard during the incident. The aircraft landed safely in Mumbai.

Earlier on Wednesday, a Go First flight from Mumbai to Goa was turned back after facing a technical glitch soon after taking off.

“Go First flight G8 371 from Mumbai to Goa did an air turnback due to technical reasons,” Go First Spokesperson was quoted as saying by Mint.

In a similar incident on December 2, a Doha-bound IndiGo flight was diverted to Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport due to the loss of 1 of the 3 hydraulic systems, India Today reported.

Last month, a Calicut-bound Air India flight from the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai was delayed by more than three hours on November 20 due to a “technical issue”.
