The Indian Institute of Science, located in Bengaluru (IISc), is set to conclude the registration window for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 today, October 5, without incurring any late fees. The application deadline was originally set for September 29, however, it had to be pushed forward to October 5. Interested candidates who haven’t yet filled out their registration for the test can do so by going to the official website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
GATE 2024 online registrations began on August 30 and will be open until October 13 for individuals who decide to register with a late fee. A Rs 500 late fee penalty will be implemented beginning October 6. Between November 7 and November 11, applicants will be able to make changes to their GATE 2024 application forms. The test is slated to take place on February 3, 4, 10, and 11 of 2024, according to the existing timetable provided. The schedule also mentions that the admit cards will be issued on January 3, followed by the answer keys on February 21, and the release of GATE 2024 results on March 16.
GATE 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Those with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, science, arts, or business from a recognised university are eligible to apply for GATE 2024. The test is also offered to undergraduate students who are in their third/ final year of college.
GATE 2024: Application Fees
A registration fee of Rs. 1,800 per paper will be charged to applicants who fall under the general category. Those belonging to the SC, ST, PWD, and female sections would be charged Rs 900 per paper.
GATE 2024: HOW TO REGISTER
Step 1: Navigate to gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
Step 2: Look up for the registration link on the main website, click on it, and fill out all the required fields.
Step 3: After completing the sign-in procedure, log in to your account.
Step 4: Complete the GATE 2024 application form and submit the registration fees as directed.
Step 5: Double-check all of the information you have provided and click the submit button.
Step 6: Take. print out of the GATE 2024 registration form for future records.
For the GATE, a total of 30 exam papers will be made accessible for candidates to choose from. Candidates who pass the test will be allowed to apply to governmental institutions for master’s and doctoral programmes in engineering, technology, architecture, science, and humanities.
