IIT JAM 2024: Candidates can submit their applications for the IIT JAM 2024 through jam.iitm.ac.in. JAM 2024 will be held on February 11 in two sessions

The IIT Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2024 registration portal will be closed by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) today, October 13. Candidates can submit their applications for the IIT JAM 2024 through jam.iitm.ac.in, the official website. Candidates must have completed an undergraduate degree or be in their last year of a university degree programme to apply for the test. Foreign citizens holding Indian degrees are also eligible to apply for the IIT JAM 2024, in accordance with the admissions policies of the Institutes.

On January 8, 2024, all applicants who have applied for the JAM 2024 will receive their admit cards. JAM 2024 will be held on February 11 in two sessions, the morning session from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM for Chemistry, Geology, and Mathematics, and the afternoon session from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM for Mathematical Statistics, Biotechnology, Economics, and Physics. According to the timetable, the IIT JAM 2024 results will be revealed on March 22, 2024.

IIT JAM 2024: How to register

Step 1: Go to jam.iitm.ac.in, the IIT JAM website’s official website.

Step 2: From the home page, select the IIT JAM 2024 registration link.

Step 3: Fill out the registration form and log in.

Step 4: Complete the application form and upload the required documents.

Step 5: Pay the application fees and click the submit button.

Step 6: When finished, download the application form.

Step 7: Print a duplicate of the IIT JAM 2024 application form for your records.

IIT JAM 2024: Application Fee

The application fee for candidates from the general category is Rs 1800 for one paper and Rs 2500 for two papers. Candidates who fall under the female, SC, ST, or PWD categories must pay an application fee of Rs 900 for one paper and Rs 1250 for two. In addition to the necessary variations in the application cost, there is a fee of Rs 300 for changing the examination cities, test papers, categories, or gender.

IIT JAM 2024 will consist of seven exam papers administered across eight zones. Candidates who pass the test will be given admission to the M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech), MS (Research), M.Sc.-M.Tech. Dual Degree, Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., and M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree.
