The NEET PG 2023 counselling, for admissions in MD, MDS, and PG medical courses, is in full swing. Following the Union Health Ministry’s approval, the NEET PG cut-off has been set to zero for all categories. Numerous state counselling committees, including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, have adjusted their schedules in response to this change, allowing all exam-takers to participate in counselling.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had to reopen the registration window for NEET PG round 3 counselling due to the cut-off reduction, which led to delays in state counselling committees as they awaited the MCC’s NEET PG round 3 results.
The NEET PG round 3 allotment result for 2023 was released on the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in. This round saw 8,191 fresh allotments among the 33,641 candidates who appeared for NEET PG 2023.
Notably, the Supreme Court granted the National Medical Commission (NMC) a one-time extension until October 10 for admitting students to PG medical courses.

Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2023
The State CET Cell initiated registration for Maharashtra NEET PG round 3 on September 18, but due to MCC’s delay, the registration period was extended by 5 days. Now, candidates must complete online registration and fee payment by October 2. Although the CET Cell originally planned to conclude counselling today, September 30, it will now end on October 10, ahead of the NMC’s deadline.
MP NEET PG Counselling 2023
The Department of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, will release the revised mop-up merit list soon. Fresh choice filling and choice locking will be available today, September 30 for eligible candidates. The MP mop-up round seat allotment result, initially set for September 22, has been postponed to October 5, with the last reporting date being October 10.
Rajasthan NEET PG Counselling 2023
The deadline for submitting Rajasthan NEET PG counselling 2023 registration forms ended on September 29. Eligible candidates were required pay the non-refundable application fee by September 29. The provisional merit list will be published on the official website, rajpgneet2023.com, on September 30.
Bihar NEET PG Counselling 2023
Candidates eligible for Bihar NEET PG counselling 2023 under the new cut-off must register by October 1. Choices made by previously registered candidates will be considered null and void. The merit list and rank card will be available on October 4 at the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
UP NEET PG Counselling 2023
The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Uttar Pradesh has also adjusted its counselling schedule. Candidates could apply for the UP NEET PG counselling 2023 mop-up round until September 29, 11 AM, at the official website, upneet.gov.in. As per the revised schedule, the UP NEET PG mop-up round seat allotment result will be declared on October 5, with candidates required to download the allotment order and report to assigned colleges between October 6 and 10.
