OnePlus 12 is slated to be the company’s next flagship device and the successor to the OnePlus 11. Recently, it was disclosed that the device would be powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship mobile chipset—the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Now, leaked benchmark scores reportedly provide insights into the kind of performance users can anticipate once the device launches, either later this year or earlier next year.
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, benchmark scores for the OnePlus 12 on Antutu have surfaced. The model identified as PJD110 got a score of 2,110,808 points in the popular benchmarking application. The leaks confirmed the phone will indeed be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset—getting a score of 4,95,780 points, with the GPU reaching 9,14,151 points. Additionally, the device scored 3,38,475 and 3,62,402 in the UX and memory tests, respectively.
In other news, it was revealed earlier this week that the OnePlus 12 will feature a QHD+ (1,440 x 3,168) AMOLED display manufactured by BOE. This display is expected to support a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, surpassing some recent flagships such as the iPhone 15 Pro (2000 nits) and the Pixel 8 Pro (2,400 nits). Furthermore, the display has received an A+ rating from DisplayMate and is named the ‘X1 Oriental Screen.’
BOE also stated that the panel would consume 13% less power compared to outgoing OLED panels and is expected to have double the lifespan of traditional OLED panels.
OnePlus 12 is anticipated to be released later this year, in December or early next year. However, until the official release, it’s advisable to take all rumors with a grain of salt.
