The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, RBSE has announced the date of practical examinations of classes 10th and 12th. According to the official notice by the board, the practical examinations will be held at the end of January. The theory board exams will be conducted between February 10 and April 15. The board has not yet released the detailed timetable of the examinations. It is likely to be released very soon.
The practical examinations of classes 10th and 12th will be conducted at the school level only. One external examiner and one internal examiner will be present during the practical. If a student is required to appear in an examination not conducted in the school, then a permission letter will have to be obtained from the District Education Office to appear in the examination in some other school, the board has announced.
The Rajasthan Board 10th and 12th examinations will be held for three hours and 15 minutes at the designated centres. The 10th exam will be held from 9 am to 12.15 pm. Whereas the 12th exam will be conducted from 12:45 pm to 4 pm.
The RBSE Board Exams 2024 will be conducted for a total of 100 marks (80 marks for some subjects). More than ten lakh students are scheduled to take the exams this year. The yearly board examinations will be held for the arts, science, and commerce disciplines.
On the other hand, the RBSE half-year exams for classes 9 through 12 will take place from December 11 to December 23. The first shift examination will take place from 9 am to 12:15 pm. The second shift papers will be held from 12:45 pm to 4 pm
Last year, around 10,66,300 students took the Rajasthan board exams. The overall pass rate was 90.49 per cent in class 10. In the case of class 12, a total of 96.60 per cent of students in the commerce stream, 92.35 per cent in the arts stream, and 95.65 per cent of students in the science stream passed the Rajasthan board exams in 2023.
