The State Bank of India (SBI) has decided to grant an extension for the application submission deadline for the recruitment of probationary officers (SBI PO) 2023. Aspirants looking forward to appearing in the SBI PO 2023 examination now have the opportunity to complete their application process by October 3. The application and fee payment can be completed via the official website, bank.sbi/careers.
For those who are yet to complete their SBI PO applications, please note that both form submission and editing options will remain open until October 3. Furthermore, candidates will have the chance to download and print their SBI PO 2023 application forms until October 1. The registration deadline had previously been set for September 27.
The SBI PO examination will be conducted in three stages. Candidates who have successfully registered for the SBI PO 2023 exam can anticipate the availability of their preliminary admit cards in the second week of October.

This recruitment drive is for a total of 2,000 vacancies of Probationary Officers in the bank.
SBI PO 2023: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this examination, candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline. Additionally, individuals who are in the process of completing their final exams are eligible, on the condition that they can provide proof during the interview of successfully clearing the exam on or before December 12.
Furthermore, qualifications in fields such as Medicine, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, and the like are also deemed valid and acceptable.
In terms of age requirements, candidates should be a minimum of 21 years old and not exceed 30 years as of April 1 in order to apply for SBI PO 2023. It’s worth noting that age relaxation provisions are applicable to candidates from reserved categories.

Step 2: In the ‘Latest Announcement’ section, click on the SBI PO recruitment link
Step 3: Initiate a new registration (If not registered already) and complete the required details
Step 4: Upload the necessary documents and submit your application.
Step 5: Proceed to pay the SBI PO application fee
Step 6: Download and retain a printed copy of the SBI PO application form for future reference
SBI PO 2023: application fees
For applicants in the General category, the SBI PO application fee has been set at Rs 750. SC and ST categories candidates are exempt from the fee. It is important for candidates to remember that at the time of registration, OBC candidates in the creamy layer should apply under the general category.
SBI PO 2023: Exam pattern
The SBI PO test is divided into three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability (worth 30, 35 and 35 marks respectively).
For each incorrect response, 0.25 marks will be deducted, and 1 mark will be awarded for every correct response.
