Raja was arrested on February 2, 2011 for alleged involvement in the case and had been in the jail for 15 months.
New Delhi: A Delhi court on Monday recorded statement of former telecom minister A Raja in the 2G spectrum allocation case. Raja is an accused in the the 2G scam case. A total of 19 people have been named as accused in the case.
Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate had filed a chargesheet against Raja and DMK chief Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi in the case in April, 2014. The chargesheet was filed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
Raja was arrested on February 2, 2011 for alleged involvement in the case and had been in the jail for 15 months. He is out on bail.
The money laundering case pertains to the alleged illegal routing of Rs 200 crore to DMK family-run Kalaignar TV.
