130. Amla is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Betul (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Amla falls in Betul district and Mahakoshal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,07,589 voters in the seat, which includes 1,07,405 male voters, and 1,00,178 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Amla recorded a voter turnout of 76.36%. In 2013 the turnout was 71.32%, and in 2008 it was 63.81%.
In 2013, Chaitram Manekar of BJP won the seat by a margin of 39,602 votes (28.14%). Chaitram Manekar secured 55.38% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 30,546 votes (29.99%), registering 50.92% of the total votes polled.
