Andhra: TRS leads Assembly, LS polls in Telangana; TDP ahead in Seemandhra
The KCR-led TRS is leading in 48 Assembly seats and nine Lok Sabha seats. The Congress is leading in just 24 Assembly seats and three Lok Sabha seats. The TDP-BJP alliance is leading in just 11 Assembly seats.

Hyderabad: The divided state of Andhra Pradesh is witnessing a fascinating contest. In Telangana, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is leading and it expected to cross half way mark easily.

The TRS is ahead in both the Assembly and Lok Sabha election. The KCR-led TRS is leading in 48 Assembly seats and nine Lok Sabha seats. The Congress is leading in just 24 Assembly seats and three Lok Sabha seats. The TDP-BJP alliance is leading in just 11 Assembly seats.

According to reports from the ground the TRS is in a very comfortable position to form the next government.

In Andhra Pradesh (Seemandhra), it is a neck and neck fight. The YSR Congress Party-led by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is in a close fight with the TDP-BJP alliance.

The YSRCP is leading in 60 Assembly seats and the TDP-BJP is leading in 63 Assembly seats. In Lok Sabha, the YSRCP is leading in 10 Lok Sabha seats and the TDP-BJP is leading in nine seats.

All key candidates from both Telangana and AP are leading. It includes K Chandrashekhar Rao, his daughter K Kavitha, son K T Ramarao and nephew Harish Rao. In AP, both Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and N Chandrababu Naidu are leading.

The AP trends have come as a big surprise.
