Bangalore: In what could be seen as a counter to Governor HR Bhardwaj'sanction of prosecution against BS Yeddyurappa, a complaint was on Monday filed against four former Karnataka chief ministers, including SM Krishna, before a judicial commission set up by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government to investigate land scams.
Vinod, an advocate, submitted the complaint seeking an investigation into denotification of lands during the rule of Krishna, now External Affairs Minister, HD Deve Gowda, his son HD Kumaraswamy and N Dharam Singh as chief ministers.
The 630-page complaint, filed before Justice B Padmaraj Commission of inquiry, lists denotification of land allotments during the four former chief ministers.
Karnataka government has ordered a probe into land allotments and denotification by BDA and KIADB from 1995 to November 2010.
Deve Gowda was the chief minister between 1994-1996, Krishna from 1999-2004, Dharam Singh 2004-06 and Kumaraswamy led the JDS-BJP coalition between 2006 to 2007.
Yeddyurappa was the deputy chief minister in JDS-BJP coalition government.
