New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has convened an emergency meeting of her Cabinet on Sunday evening to discuss the prevailing situation arising out of large-scale protests against the gangrape of a young girl.
The Chief Minister has reached the national capital after attending the Congress Legislature Party meeting in Shimla for election of Congress' Chief Ministerial candidate in Himachal Pradesh.
Dikshit has also sought an appointment with Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde to brief him about Delhi government's views on the security situation, sources said.
