57. Hatta is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Damoh Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Hatta falls in Damoh district and Vindhya Pradesh region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,26,080 voters in the seat, which includes 1,17,848 male voters, and 1,08,230 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Hatta recorded a voter turnout of 69.51%. In 2013 the turnout was 64.7%, and in 2008 it was 62.02%.
In 2013, Umadevi-Lalchand Khatik of BJP won the seat by a margin of 2,852 votes (2.19%). Umadevi-Lalchand Khatik secured 45.42% of the total votes polled.
