4. Joura is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Morena Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Joura falls in Morena district and Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,25,965 voters in the seat, which includes 1,24,135 male voters, and 1,01,814 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Joura recorded a voter turnout of 71.35%. In 2013 the turnout was 68.09%, and in 2008 it was 68.22%.
In 2013, Subedar Singh of BJP won the seat by a margin of 2,498 votes (1.7%). Subedar Singh secured 28.94% of the total votes polled.
BSP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 8,595 votes (7.39%), registering 31.39% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BSP led in the Joura Assembly segment of the Morena Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
