New Delhi: Ceasefire violations along the Line of Control are expected to top the agenda as Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid will meet Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's envoy Sartaj Aziz on Tuesday.

The bilateral meeting will be on the sidelines of the Asia Europe meeting which is scheduled to be held on Tuesday evening. The meeting comes even as the BJP criticised that it committed a "diplomatic blunder" by allowing Aziz to meet Kashmiri separatists on the Indian soil on Monday.

The VHP had also slammed the Centre for allowing the meeting. "The Congress-led UPA government has lowered the honour and prestige of the country by allowing Kashmiri separatists to hold parley with Pakistani representatives in New Delhi," VHP Jammu and Kashmir state unit chief Rama Kant Dubey had said.

However, the People's Democratic Party welcomed the meeting between Kashmiri separatists and Aziz, saying the process should be carried forward in all its dimensions.

"The interaction between the Hurriyat leaders and the Pakistani government, initiated in New Delhi, is a welcome revival of the process initiated by the NDA government. It shall be carried forward in all its dimensions," PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti said.
