Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday reiterated the commitment of the Centre to fight the issues of corruption and black money, saying the mission of the NDA government was to build a prosperous India.
Pointing that India is currently in a crucial phase of nation building, the Prime Minister said, "India is currently in a crucial phase of nation building."
"Our government has taken crucial steps to tackle corruption...the government has taken crucial steps to tackle corruption," said the Prime Minister.
Asserting that he has taken steps towards a transparent and accountable government, the Prime Minister said that "efforts have been made to secure platforms for checking corruption". He added that agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) had been doing a lot to put an end to corruption.
"The government is unsparing when it comes to dealing with corruption," said Modi, adding, "I hope our recent efforts help build secure platforms for checking corruption and recovering black money."
