Chidambaram declined to give any date line for resolving the issue.
New Delhi: Home Minister P Chidambaram on Friday declined to give a time frame for resolving the festering controversy over a separate Telangana state.
"No idea," he replied when reporters asked him outside parliament when the issue would be resolved given the intense passions for and against creating the new state.
The continuous uproar over the issue in the Lok Sabha had forced Speaker Meira Kumar to adjourn the house sine die on Friday.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal justified the early adjournment of the house, saying it could not function amidst continuous disruptions.
