In the run-up to the Lok Sabha Elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is busy campaigning for his party across the country with his INDIA allies as they are ready to take up the fight against Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA.
Against the backdrop of this intense political battle, Gandhi managed to create some light moments when he unexpectedly visited a sweet shop in Tamil Nadu’s Singanallur district, leaving the staff and other customers surprised.

Later in the day, Gandhi addressed an election rally in Tamil Nadu together with Chief Minister and DMK President MK Stalin. The camaraderie between the Congress and the ruling DMK was evident as Stalin welcomed Gandhi as a “dear brother,” to give a new dawn for a new India
The former chief of the grand old party addressed the Dravidian party chief as elder brother and said he never addressed any other politician as his brother.
“Narendra Modi and Adani policies have created two Indias. One India of billionaires and the other India of poor people,” said Gandhi.
In response, Stalin described the Congress party’s manifesto as the ‘election hero’ and praised Gandhi saying through his yatras, he learnt of people’s problems and came up with his party’s manifesto. Congress manifesto reflects social justice championed by DMK, he said.
