187. Pipalda is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Kota Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Pipalda falls in Kota district and Hadoti region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,97,308 voters in the seat, which includes 1,02,706 male voters, and 94,602 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Pipalda recorded a voter turnout of 72.16%. In 2013 the turnout was 73.31%, and in 2008 it was 61%.
In 2013, Vidhyashankar Nandwana of BJP won the seat by a margin of 7,749 votes (6.06%). Vidhyashankar Nandwana secured 36.85% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 10,873 votes (11.23%), registering 39.97% of the total votes polled.
