175. Rajsamand is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Rajsamand Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Rajsamand falls in Rajsamand district and South region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,11,769 voters in the seat, which includes 1,07,858 male voters, and 1,03,911 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Rajsamand recorded a voter turnout of 75.81%. In 2013 the turnout was 77.22%, and in 2008 it was 68.9%.
In 2013, Kiran Maheshwari of BJP won the seat by a margin of 30,575 votes (21.15%). Kiran Maheshwari secured 58.3% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 5,458 votes (4.74%), registering 47.12% of the total votes polled.
