23. Ramagundam is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Telangana and is part of Peddapalle Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Ramagundam falls in Peddapalli district and North Telangana region of Telangana. It is categorised as an urban seat.
There are a total of 1,59,605 voters in the seat, which includes 82,414 male voters, and 77,169 female voters. In the 2018 Telangana elections, Ramagundam recorded a voter turnout of 71.75%. In 2014 the turnout was 61.87%.
In 2014, Somarapu Satyanarayana of TRS won the seat by a margin of 2,295 (1.67%). Somarapu Satyanarayana secured 26% of the total votes polled.
