43. Tikamgarh is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Tikamgarh (SC) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Tikamgarh falls in Tikamgarh district and Vindhya Pradesh region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,00,882 voters in the seat, which includes 1,06,160 male voters, and 94,719 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Tikamgarh recorded a voter turnout of 74.11%. In 2013 the turnout was 72.53%, and in 2008 it was 67.92%.
In 2013, K K Shrivastava of BJP won the seat by a margin of 16,889 votes (12.48%). K K Shrivastava secured 42.83% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 9,828 votes (9.67%), registering 36.29% of the total votes polled.
