Amid a political crisis in Jharkhand, JMM legislative party leader Champai Soren reached Raj Bhavan on Thursday evening to meet Governor CP Radhakrishnan on the formation of the new government in the state.
Soren was accompanied by Congress legislative party leader Alamgir Alam, RJD MLA Satyanand Bhokta, CPI (ML) legislator Vinod Singh and lawmaker Pradeep Yadav.
After the MLAs lined-up at the Raj Bhavan, the ruling alliance released a video showing support of 43 MLAs to prevent poaching of the legislators.

The hilarious video, recorded before the meeting with Governor, shows the counting of the MLAs, led by Champai Soren, while other MLAs read aloud their numbers from one to 43.
“Will request the Governor to accept our claim to form the government at the earliest,” Singh said before entering the Raj Bhavan.
However, Champai couldn’t get time for oath-taking and told MLAs that they “will be notified tomorrow.”
The Governor allotted time to the JMM-led alliance in the state to meet him at 5.30 pm.
Champai Soren became the new leader of the JMM legislative party after Hemant Soren resigned on Wednesday night as the chief minister by the ED in a money laundering case and his subsequent arrest.
