Prithviraj Sukumaran has always been known to play strong characters that showcase his versatility. And now, the talented actor is gearing up for his highly anticipated fourth film in the Hindi cinema industry after Aiyyaa, Naam Shabana, and Aurangzeb. The actor who can be seen in Prabhas starrer Salaar shared some exciting updates about the film.
Speaking with the entertainment portal PinkVilla, Prithviraj Sukumaran shared, “I think, the people will be surprised on seeing the world of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in the first teaser, which drops very soon. A lot in the audience are thinking of it as a comedy and that’s because of the title, but it’s a massive movie – it’s a huge canvas film. Of course, there is humor too, but much like Salaar, the premise and canvas is very big.”
Lauding praises at the director Ali Abbas Zaffar, Prithviraj added, “It’s a role to die for. Ali is a very good filmmaker; he is a fantastic storyteller. Much like Prashanth, I have a very good equation with Ali and I am looking forward to Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.”
Recently, Prithviraj Sukumaran took to his Instagram handle and gave a sneak peek into the dubbing session for his upcoming action thriller film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
He shared a picture showcasing the logo of the Yash Raj Films production house and a recording mike. The snap was captured during the dubbing session at the recording studio. Accompanying the post, Prithviraj Sukumaran wrote in the caption, “Dubbing, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Teaser. Ali Abbas, this is (with three fire emoticons). See you in the theatres on Eid 2024.”
According to a report by ETimes, director Ali Abbas Zafar expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “I am delighted to be an integral part of such a big franchise. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is very close to the audience’s heart and bringing all the entertaining elements in this mass entertainer for the audience was a tough and enjoyable experience. On top of all, having slated its release for EID 2024, it will definitely be a treat for the audience to enjoy the festival with power-packed entertainment!”
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan features Akshay Kumar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tiger Shroff, and Sonakshi Sinha in prominent roles. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie is filmed in diverse and picturesque locations such as Scotland, London, India, and the UAE. The eagerly awaited movie is scheduled for an Eid 2024 release. It is anticipated that the makers will unveil the film’s teaser on Republic Day, 2024, and will be screened alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter.
