SS Rajamouli: Jr NTR Congratulate Chiranjeevi On Padma Vibhushan Honour: 'Your Journey Inspires...'

SS Rajamouli and Jr NTR congratulated Chiranjeevi after he was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan Award. The second-highest civilian honour awarded for exceptional and distinguished service, Chiranjeevi is among the five people this year to have been honoured with Padma Vibhushan. Taking to Twitter, now known as X, the RRR director penned a note to congratulate the Telugu superstar.

“From nowhere, a boy who laid the first stone for Punadhirallu to becoming the recipient of the second-highest civilian award in India… Your journey inspires generations Chiranjeevi Garu. Congratulations on receiving the Padma Vibhushan. @KChiruTweets,” he tweeted.

Taarak also congratulated M Venkaiah Naidu in his note. “Congratulations to @MVenkaiahNaidu Garu and @KChiruTweets Garu on receiving the Padma Vibhushan!” Jr NTR wrote. He also congratulated Padma Bhushan and Padma winners. “Also, congratulations to all the recipients of Padma Awards. May your remarkable achievement inspire generations to come,” he wrote.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also congratulated the winners. Taking to X, PM Modi said, “Congratulations to all those who have been conferred the Padma Awards. India cherishes their contribution across diverse sectors. May they continue to inspire people with their exceptional work.”

Many others also congratulated Chiranjeevi.

The Padma Vibhushan 2024 winners this year include Vyjayantimala Bali, Chiranjeevi, M Venkaiah Naidu, Bindeshwar Pathak and Padma Subrahmanyam. Several entertainment personalities were honoured with Padma Bhushan as well. It has been revealed that popular actor Mithun Chakraborty, renowned singer Usha Uthup, acclaimed music composer Pyarelal Sharma, of the Laxmikant-Pyarelal duo, and late Tamil actor Vijayakanth (posthumous) have been honoured with Padma Vibhushan.
