Telugu film directors have gradually made a mark for themselves in the ever-evolving world of cinema with their pan-India blockbusters. Their films have attained staggering box-office collections and also received accolades from the viewers. Due to the global success of their films, these directors have also become successful and receive hefty remunerations. 1. SS Rajamouli– SS Rajamouli, one of the successful filmmakers in the Telugu cinema, reportedly charges Rs 80-100 crore for a film. There is, however, no official confirmation in this regard. He last directed the film RRR, which became a global phenomenon and won many awards across the world. Rajamouli took a share of the profits collected from the film.
2. Prashanth Neel– As per the reports, Prashanth Neel is charging Rs 40-50 crores per film. Reportedly, his fee has escalated after the success of his KGF franchise.
3. Sukumar– Sukumar achieved pan-India success with the film Pushpa: The Rise-Part 1. He will reportedly charge Rs 50 crore for Pushpa’s sequel Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2. As per the reports, he charges Rs 12-15 crore for a film.
4. Puri Jagannadh– Puri Jagannadh is one of the renowned directors in the Telugu industry and reportedly charges Rs 6-8 crores per film. He is currently looking forward to his next film as a director, titled Double Ismart. He will reportedly charge Rs 20 crores for this film.
5. Koratala Siva– Koratala Siva is anticipating his next film as a director, titled Devara Part 1. He reportedly charges around Rs 25 crores per film. Siva is associated with hit films like Janatha Garage, Srimanthudu, and Mirchi.
6. S Shankar– Director S Shankar’s debut Telugu directorial, titled Game Changer, is expected to be released in September. He will reportedly receive Rs 40 crores for this film. He has received the same amount for the film Indian 2 as well as revealed by the Lyca Productions.
7. Trivikram Srinivas– As per the reports, Trivikram Srinivas reportedly charges Rs 25-30 crore for a film. His recently released film titled Guntur Kaaram has attained mixed reviews from the viewers.
