The iPhone 7 Plus and the Pixel XL are almost similar in dimensions as well. The Pixel is lightweight at 168 grams and the iPhone 7 Plus is slightly heavy at 188 grams.

Both iPhone 7 Plus and Google Pixel XL sport a 5.5-inch display. The display on the iPhone 7 Plus comes with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and 401ppi pixel density, but the Pixel XL beats the iPhone 7 Plus in terms of display quality as it comes with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and 534ppi pixel density. The display on the Pixel XL is not as bright as the iPhone 7 Plus but is more vivid.

Performance
Both these smartphones are strong performers. Apple iPhone 7 Plus runs on a quad-core 2.23 GHz Apple A10 Fusion chip with 3GB of RAM and the iOS 10 integration is just seamless. This is by far the best performing iPhone till date. The Pixel XL is also no noob, the phone is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 821 chipset that's backed by 4GB RAM and this is a phone made for Android Nougat.
The Touch ID on the iPhone 7 with its newly designed home button with a taptic engine is a delight to use and fast to unlock your phone or make payments while buying apps. The fingerprint sensor on the Pixel XL is also lighting fast.

The iPhone 7 Plus comes with a non-removable Li-Ion 2,900 mAh that's well optimised with the iOS to easily last you for more than a day. The same is the case with the Pixel XL with its non-removable Li-Ion 3450 mAh. The Pixel XL though last you slightly longer than the iPhone 7 Plus as it has a better battery optimisation with Android Nougat.

The kind of aspiration value that an iPhone commands in India is something Android has lost over the years due to affordable powerful Android smartphones. That's one of the main reason for many to pick the iPhone 7 Plus over the Google Pixel XL.
