Asus has added two more Zenfone devices to their line up at the Zenvolution 2016 in Vietnam. The Zenfone 3 Max at $200 and Zenfone 3 Laser at $265 were unveiled at the event.
Both the phones are expected to hit international markets including India soon, along with the Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and the Zenfone 3 Ultra.
The Zenfone 3 Max surprisingly comes with a smaller 4100 mAh battery rather than the 5000 mAh battery seen in the earlier device.
The device will come with a 5.2 inch HD display with a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core Mediatek MT6737 SoC and a Mali T720 GPU. All this firepower is backed by 3GB RAM. The device also sports a 13 megapixel rear with LED flash and 5 megapixel selfie camera.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Laser will also come with a 13 megapixel, f/2.0 Sony IMX214 sensor rear camera that comes with the 2nd gen Laser Autofocus sensor. There is also a 3 axis EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation) on the Zenfone 3 Laser.
The device will come with a 5.5 inch HD display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa core chip with Adreno 505 GPU that will be backed by 4GB RAM.
Both the phones will run on Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Zen UI 2.0 on top of it. The company is expected to launch the Zenfone 3 series in India in the third quarter of 2016.
