Honor 7A, Honor 7C With Dual Camera, Android 8.0 Oreo Launched: Price, Specifications And More

Honor, a sub-brand of Huawei, has introduced two new budget smartphones in India today in the form of the Honor 7A and the Honor 7C. The devices boast of a dual camera setup at the back, along with an edge-to-edge display and face recognition for security. Sporting almost similar looks, the Honor 7C comes as the larger variant of the two with a near-6-inch display. The Honor 7A and the Honor 7C will go on sale in India starting May 29 and May 31 respectively. As for their prices, the Honor 7A will start retailing at Rs 8,999 for the 3GB RAM, 32GB storage variant while the Honor 7C will be available in two options - 3GB/ 32GB option priced at Rs 9,999 and another with 4GB/ 64GB storage priced at Rs 11,999.

Honor 7C Specifications

Honor 7C comes as the more premium offering of the two and sports a 5.99-inch display with 1440x720 pixels resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC and carries a 3GB/ 4GB RAM along with 32GB/ 64GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo with Huawei's own EMUI 8.0 on top.

As for its optics, the Honor 7C comes with a dual camera setup at the back that includes a 13-megapixel lens coupled to a 2-megapixel lens for depth effect. The camera also comes with PDAF and an LED Flash. At the front, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel for selfies that also comes with LED Flash.

The Honor 7C is backed by a 3000 mAh battery and comes with connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB 2.0 and more.

Honor 7A Specifications

Alongside the Honor 7C, the company has also introduced a more pocket-friendly offering in the form of the Honor 7A. The smartphone is physically smaller than the Honor 7C and sports a 5.7-inch display with the same, 1440x720 resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and carries a

The device sports a similar camera setup, both at the front and the back, as found on the Honor 7C. It is also backed by a 3000 mAh battery.

Honor 7A will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting May 29, 2018. While the Honor 7C will be available exclusively on Amazon India with its first sale starting on May 31, 2018.
