Huawei used its P9 launch event to make a surprise announcement about its newest tablet - the Huawei MateBook - which will soon make its entry into the Indian market.
The convertible tablet was first introduced at the Mobile World Congress in February this year. Aimed at the premium business market, the Huawei MateBook will compete with Apple's iPad Pro and the Microsoft Surface.
The thin MateBook has a 12-inch pixel display, weighs just 640 grammes (1.4 pounds) without the keyboard although it looks heavier, and has a battery life of ten hours under standard use. Also read: Huawei P9 With Leica Camera and Kirin 955 Processor Launched at Rs 39,999
