Nokia will be back in the smartphone game with its Android smartphone coded as the D1C at the Mobile World Congress 2017. The Nokia Android phone D1C will be reportedly priced as low as Rs 10,000.
The Nokia D1C might come in two RAM and display options- 5-inch Full HD display and 2GB RAM for an expected price of $150 (or Rs 10,000) and 5.5-inch Full HD and 3GB RAM version for $200, which roughly translates to Rs 13,000, according to a report by Nokia Power User. There is no official confirmation on the prices while the smartphone is expected to be aggressively priced. As far as the specifications are concerned, the Nokia D1C Android phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor. The device will reportedly run the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The launch of HMD comes just six months after the company signed a strategic licensing agreement with Nokia, giving HMD exclusive use of the Nokia brand on mobile phones and tablets worldwide for the next 10 years.
